Yes, you can add your own decking to our Low Pro Roof Rack or Standard Racks! Both racks make a great foundation for creating a rooftop deck, half deck, walkway, or just a platform to stand on while you're on the roof. We've seen customers use a wide variety materials including standard solid wood decking, composite decking, and even custom diamond plate steel.

There are so many ways to add a rooftop deck to your adventure van, and our Low Pro and Standard Roof Racks make it easy to add to the crossbars already on your van with a roof rack. Many customers can use the standard amount of crossbars that come with the rack while others while others will need extra crossbars to support the weight - it really depends on how much room you're trying to span with the decking, what kind of materials you're using, and if you have the available space on existing crossbars.
