Can I install Side Steps with other accessories underneath my van?Updated a year ago

Our Side Steps mount to the underbody your van where other accessories may already be in place. You can check out the install guide for the side steps you want to get for reference where each hangar or brace needs to mount.

If you encounter this issue, you can omit a single Hangar or Brace along the MID SECTION (see image below) of the side steps.

It is possible to omit a single Brace, and/or cut off the upper portion of a Hangar as shown below. We recommend installing the Hangar even if the upper portion is cut off to provide some support of the step against the pinch weld. Please reference the images below for cutting a Hangar.

This can be done at your own discretion and risk. If more obstructions are present, omitting braces or hangars could compromise the structural integrity of your install.
