Using the Thule Hideaway Awning with our Sprinter Low Pro Roof RacksUpdated a year ago

The roof mounted Thule Hideaway Awning (630001 & 630002) can be installed with our Low Pro Roof Racks for Sprinter vans - it just requires some cuts to the Thule awning brackets and is really minimal extra work if you have the tools. To make this work, you'll need our F80 Awning Kit, the Low Pro Rack for your van, and the awning.

In order to install the Thule Hidaway roof mounted awning with our Low Pro rack, the front and rear brackets will need to be cut down to fit in-between the F80 kit pieces. The F80 kit pieces need to line up where you want your crossbars, so you'll want to decide this first.

Once you know where your crossbars will be/the F80 kit pieces will be, you'll need to cut down the front and rear brackets that come with the Thule adapter kit - typically about 4-4.5" off each bracket. After you've cut down the Thule brackets to fit, you can continue following the F80 Kit instructions to complete the install of your roof rack and awning.
